Introduction to Certified Primary School Teacher Training Program (CPSTTP)

The Certified Primary School Teacher Training Program (CPSTTP) is proudly offered by BBSMIT Institute and is intended to equip aspiring teachers to work with students ages 6 to 11.  Child psychology, subject-specific teaching strategies, NEP-2020 alignment, and lesson planning are the main topics of this program.  Through activity-based learning, visual aids, phonics, and storytelling, trainees acquire critical classroom abilities.  Additionally covered in the course are behavior management, parent communication, and the use of digital technologies in the classroom.  CPSTTP equips you with the contemporary skills you need to effectively mold young minds in a primary classroom, regardless of whether you're a new teacher or a stay-at-home mom hoping to pursue a career in education.

Understanding Primary Education

At BBSMIT, we prepare our teacher trainees to understand how young children learn, think, and behave. Here, we look at the fundamentals of primary education, including emotional, social, and academic growth, in line with NEP 2020. Those trainings teach the key duties teachers have to create a warm place for students to learn.

  • Child Psychology (Ages 6–11): Understand how children develop emotionally, socially, and mentally during early school years to support effective learning
  • Learning Stages & NEP-2020 Alignment: Find out how the updated teaching system fits with the aims of the National Education Policy 2020.
  • Role & Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher: Learn about the ways you should lead, care for, and oversee young students in a meaningful and caring manner.

Subject-wise Teaching Methodology

BBSMIT specializes in finding new ways to help students learn every topic. In this section, trainees learn to teach subjects by doing activities, telling stories, and using images. Each lesson is taught using approaches that make it easy for children to follow and understand.

  • English Grammar Basics, Reading, Creative Writing: Help learners understand grammar, read with more confidence, and grow their imagination using a variety of writing tasks.
  • Mathematics: Addition–Division, Tables, Word Problems: Explore tools and examples when teaching how to operate, work on tables, and solve easy stories that are based on math.
  • EVS: Daily Life, Nature, Health & Safety: Teach your children important concepts by giving them activities focused on staying clean, knowing about nature, and staying safe.
  • Hindi: Vyakaran, Reading & Writing Practice: Improve your understanding of Hindi by starting with grammar, reading fun stories, and writing simple texts.
  • Computer Basics (optional): Paint, MS Word, Typing: Explain to your child how to type, draw things in Paint, and arrange simple information in MS Word.

Lesson Planning & Academic Calendar

At BBSMIT, we support our teachers in managing their academic year well by preparing careful lesson outlines and event timelines. In this section, we address the need to plan lessons that meet syllabus goals, finish the syllabus on time, and help students understand. During the year, trainees focus on separating what they must do, using resources, and staying organized.

  • Annual & Weekly Syllabus Division: Place each part of your syllabus neatly into weekly units so you can easily cover it throughout the year and maintain a strong classroom routine.
  • Creating Effective Lesson Plans: Be able to make lesson plans that keep children interested and moving forward at their speed.
  • Using Textbooks and Reference Materials: Smartly use NCERT and other resources to enhance your lessons with different types of quality material.

Teaching Aids & Activities

We choose to let students interact with information, as we feel it helps them to understand the subject better at BBSMIT. The approach shows future teachers how to pick and organize interesting tools for the classroom. Charts, games, and worksheets open the door for trainees to develop great lessons. Various audio-visual gadgets are offered to allow students to learn in their way in primary classrooms.

  • Charts, Flashcards, Games: Children learn more effectively when you use bright examples and simple games.
  • Use of Audio-Visual Tools: Letting your students use projectors, smart boards, or watch videos can help them learn more in class.
  • Making Worksheets and Creative Activities: Ensure your activities and worksheets match the abilities of the students for every grade you teach.

Classroom & Behavior Management

We train teachers at BBSMIT to lead their classes with confidence, kindness, and organization. The purpose here is to shape a positive learning atmosphere in which all children are respected and safe. Those in training discover ways to maintain control, sort out group troubles, and solve behavior problems by using tested methods.

  • Setting Class Rules: Work to build rules that fit the students’ ability to lead to more shared responsibility and respect.
  • Managing Group Work: Make sure team projects are organized so that all children work together and take part equally.
  • Handling Difficult Students: Find helpful and respectful ways to handle students who struggle with learning or who are disrespectful.

Assessment & Evaluation Techniques

At BBSMIT, we train educators in how to judge students fairly across their academic careers. Here, trainees learn how to develop important assessments that fit with the learning goals. Techniques from assessment creation to report card production are included in the book. They learn, too, how to gauge their progress and provide helpful feedback that encourages children and assists their growth.

  • Designing Tests (Oral + Written): Make tests that are suited to various ages and accurately assess both students’ understanding and the subject content.
  • Grading & Report Cards: Become familiar with grading ways and start making basic, useful report cards for parents.
  • Conducting Formative & Summative Assessments: Make sure you use both standard and simple approaches to review students during the term and in the final assessment.

Communication & Parent Engagement

We prepare teachers at BBSMIT to help build better links between school and home. In this section, we explain why it is important to interact consistently, nicely, and without confusion with parents. They learn to prepare helpful teacher comments, organize their parent-teacher meetings, and provide feedback that benefits the student. Good communication between parents and teachers raises student performance and fosters trust between everyone involved.

  • Writing Student Remarks: Compose notes that outline a child’s learning and behavioral advances simply.
  • Parent Meetings (PTM) Handling: Make sure PTMs are calm and respectful as you discuss student goals, parent worries, and their success.
  • Giving Constructive Feedback: Tell employees what they’re doing well and suggest improvements in ways that don’t upset them.

Technology in Teaching

We provide teachers at BBSMIT with important digital tools to improve the way students learn. In this section, we examine new educational technology that improves both teaching and student involvement. Teachers help trainees figure out how to use Zoom, Google Forms, and smart boards, as well as techniques to keep track of students online. Using technology helps teachers get ready for the classrooms of tomorrow.

  • Using Google Forms/Zoom/Smart Boards: Make use of interactive digital tools to review through quizzes, hold classes live, and present lots of content.
  • Making Presentations for Teaching: Making PowerPoint slides for each subject that show and describe topics using visual examples.
  • Digital Attendance & Homework Tracking: Do not forget to create an online way to track both attendance and homework via apps or cloud resources.

Soft Skills for Teachers

We at BBSMIT believe that a great teacher is knowledgeable and also strong in important social skills. This part of the book is dedicated to creating traits in teachers that aid in managing classrooms smoothly, speaking plainly, and dealing with difficulties in a cool manner. Developing communication, being disciplined with time, and being emotionally aware are all skills trainees pick up to support a friendly and respectful classroom in primary education.

  • Voice Modulation & Confidence: Try to communicate clearly while changing how you speak to grab the attention of young learners.
  • Time Management & Punctuality: To keep class discipline and a good learning pace, you should plan and carry out those plans promptly.
  • Conflict Resolution in Class: Treat student conflicts gently and truthfully in order to keep the classroom positive and united.

Demo Class Practice & Interview Prep

We prepare our trainees for the workplace by giving them practice classes and coaching in interview skills at BBSMIT. The section prepares students with advice on how to handle interviews, tips on common questions, and good manners in the classroom.
